At Swansea College there are many courses available to suit all different types of people. If for example you want to pursue a career in IT or you just want to add to the skills that you already have, there are many courses on offer.
IT for the office Qualification = OCR Level 2
No entry requirements, assesed through short exams and coursework. preparing people for work in an office environment, gaining basic skills and using popular packages like Microsoft Excel, Word, Access etc
IT Practioners BTEC National Diploma Level 3
Entry requirements are that the student must have four GCSEs at C grade or an Information Technology qulification. Students complete assignments and projects based on what they would be expected to know when they eventually get a job
IT Practioners First Diploma Level 2
The entry level for this course is to have four GCSEs at D grade or a qualification in information technology. This course will teach you skills that will help you in a computer environment, using database, financial modelling and application software are subjects that you will become confident in.
Computing AS/A level
Entry requirement is five GCSEs at C grade or a qualification in information technology. you will use a wide range of applications and computer systems.
